Summer school and conference themes

The overall theme for the 2009 summer school and conference is Understanding Transport Pricing

The summer school will cover the following themes

  1. Urban transport supply and demand
  2. Equilibria and optima in urban transport
  3. Discrete choice models, theory and application
  4. First-best, second-best and private road pricing
  5. Road pricing and urban structure
  6. Valuation of intangibles: Time, Unreliability and Schedule Delay
  7. Transport Pricing: A General Equilibrium Perspective
  8. Pricing and Investment in Aviation
  9. Politics of Pricing
  10. Transport and agglomeration

These themes will be addressed at the summer school. Conference papers on related topics are encouraged, while papers addressing other topics in (urban) transport are also welcomed.
