Submission of papers

After your abstract has been accepted, you can submit your paper at any time before May 15 to have it included on the conference proceedings USB-stick (without loss of copyright for the authors). Before submitting your paper, please check whether it follows the below guidelines. When you are ready to submit your paper, please send it as an email attachment to the conference secretariat: KuhmoNectar2009@transport.dtu.dk.

Guidelines for papers

The title page should contain, apart from the title of the paper, a reference to the congress, the name(s) of the author(s) and institute(s) and address details, including an email address. An abstract, up to 5 key-words, and possibly JEL codes and acknowledgements, complete the title page.

The standard text should preferably be in a black Times Roman 12 pt font, and use 1.5 line spacing. Footnotes can be printed in 10 pt. Margins should be no smaller than 2.5 cm. All text should be justified. Please include page numbers.

The full paper should not exceed 25 pages and should be organized under appropriate headings. Papers that exceed 25 pages may not be considered for inclusion on the USB-stick.

Tables, figures and equations should be numbered consecutively and each table or figure should include a caption. They have to be included in the digital text version of the paper and should be readable with standard software.

References should be complete in all details, including article, book and journal titles in full, and appear at the end of the paper. The style of referencing should be consistent within the paper, but no common referencing style is imposed on contributors to the USB-stick.

Papers can only be submitted in electronic form. A pdf-file is strongly preferred, but we can reformat *.doc and *.rtf documents into pdf. This gives you less control over the way in which your paper will finally appear. In case your paper contains less common fonts, it is advisable to embed these in your pdf file (most pdf creators offer this option, but please use the ‘only symbols in use’ option if available). Make sure that the electronic version of your paper is complete and consists of one single file.
